Tell us about yourself
We are a team of two sisters from Southern California! Creator & Designer Jackie Dobernic and Co-Owner & Operations Officer Amanda Dobernic are consistently raising the bar with alluring designs and have always been inspired by creating specialty pieces to suit their lifestyle, which exudes a love for fashion, travel, and their Los Angeles roots. Jackie created The Lace Project in 2013, which makes this year our 10th anniversary! We have incredible plans for this year and can't wait to share!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Making The Lace Project a success while keeping our roots alive and brand quality at the forefront! We've put our blood, sweat, and tears into our business and never let anything get in the way. We've stayed true to the brand Jackie created.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the toughest elements would be that we never stop trying to do the best we can. The business is always at the top of our minds, always the main focus, and we strive daily to implement growth in all ways possible. We give it our all.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Ensure the product and brand is of quality, stands out in ways competitors do not, and get ready to give it everything you've got!
