What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a holistic health coach, clinical herbalist, holistic pet coach, teacher, course creator, and author of my own self-published book called Energies of Herbs. My customers are people who want to learn about how to get healthy, stay healthy, or find new ways to holistically take care of themselves and their loved ones.
Tell us about yourself
My own health struggles are what started me on this journey. I hold a Master's Degree in Science Complementary and Integrative Health from National University. I'm a certified Usui Reiki Master and teacher, and I hold multiple certifications, including acupressure, feng shui, holistic nutrition, and others. What motivates me each day is my family, as well as my passion and knowing that the methods I use work.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner so far has been establishing strong business-to-business relationships with other practitioners over the past three years.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that I've had to overcome as a business owner is finding clients in a stressed economy.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
First, remember to always take care of yourself. Second, if you let your business grow organically, you have the time and energy to improve places you need to. The third would be to not over-diversify your business and stretch yourself too thin. Stay on target.
