What's your business, and who are your customers?

I created KANATA GC to become the go-to consulting firm with the proven know-how to assist business successfully go through the customer centricity transformation process through design, setting strategies and action plans with the customer always in focus. After long years in the retail business, I developed the strong belief in people advocacy and building loyalty; and the way is by defining a customer experience that aligns with the brand's purpose, values and what it stands for.  KANATA GC is founded on one guiding principle: Customer relationships built on 360* trust.

Tell us about yourself

I was lucky enough to work with great leaders and great retail organizations. so, being privileged to gain the experience in setting successful processes, practices and learning a lot about customer interaction both online and offline; developed the notion in me that businesses who are not customer focused are missing a lot, in terms of loyalty and ultimately revenue. I am motivated by the success of our clients, the sense of accomplishment is there when we get the 'Thank You KANATA GC' note after each project.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Every project we successfully implement is an accomplishment, however the most rewarding part is when we get a referral from one of our clients... for us this is the 'I trust you' sign of in KANATA GC.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Managing the non-core business aspects. Basically, the accounting, and other administrative tasks. The passion is all about what we do best, helping businesses succeed in the market and gain the trust and loyalty of their customers.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

TRUST: Trust yourself and your ability.

TRUST: Trust your team and earn their trust through transparency.

TRUST: Gain the trust of your clients by being honest and genuine.

Any economy flourishes with small/medium size business and local businesses. So, we are having the responsibility to succeed and support each other to achieve such success and having a community of solopreneurs is the ideal setup for a flourishing economy.
