Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Myrna Malki, Vice-President of The Dew Water Corporation, located in Irvine, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Dew Water Corporation is the maker of The DewStand Atmospheric Water Generators for household, commercial and Industrial applications.

Tell us about yourself

My favorite drink is water, just pure drinking water. My husband is the founder of EBD Paragon, a water technology company that implements large water supply projects for military and public sector applications using a variety of water technologies, including water from the air. When he told me that they were ready to commercialize their Atmospheric Water Generation technology, I knew my time had come to change the world. What can be a purer source of water than water that never touched the ground? Nothing can be. I wake up every morning with one objective in mind, which is to have the DewStand becomes a common household item in each American home, every American every home. We owe it to our children; we owe it to the generations to come.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I am blessed with an amazing team that managed in a relatively short period of time to make The DewStand America's most trusted Atmospheric Water Generator. Every day, we contribute towards the two most important goals for our nation: Better Health and Cleaner Environment.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing is keeping up with the growth. We built our business on one simple rule: 100% satisfied customers. Naturally, growing pains come with growth. I keep it simple; if it is not right, we'll make it right. That works every time but can only be achieved with full dedication, every time, every day no exceptions!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Have a passion for what you do; otherwise, do something else that you have passion for.
  2. Work hard.
  3. Be patient. It will come. Guaranteed.
