What's your business, and who are your customers?
I’m a life strategy coach, lifestyle-wellness influencer, and founder of The Conscious Wellness Club. My customers, for the most part, are women who want to become their best selves.
Tell us about yourself
My passion for health and wellness began in my teens while struggling with the deterioration of my mental & physical health. Once I discovered the concept of “wellness” and began practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental health outcomes, it felt natural to make it my career because making it a priority completely changed my life.
At the time, I was struggling to find the motivation to stay in college because I knew I could accomplish my goals without a degree, so I obtained a few diplomas from non-traditional online institutions before officially dropping out and quitting my job simultaneously. I had a very clear vision for myself, created a multi-faceted business plan, and executed it. It didn’t take very long for the life I envisioned to become a reality since one of my first TikTok videos went viral. That was a catapult for my personal brand and business.
Truthfully, I don’t rely on motivation to wake up every day and do what I do because I have a drive fuelled by my passion for helping others live healthier lives. Between my customers, clients, and digital community, I am constantly reminded that I made the right career choice.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is creating a multi-faceted business from scratch using my phone and computer by myself - no budget, no designers, no help from anyone - I figured it out on my own and showed up for myself every single day.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Uncertainty, but it's a natural part of every entrepreneur’s journey.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be resourceful.
- Stay consistent.
- Prioritize your work/life balance.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
You are entirely up to you, and you are responsible for who you become.
