Tell us about yourself

After learning the devastating effects that stress - both short and long term - can do on one's health and well-being and how it is the underlying factor in almost every chronic, lifestyle dis-ease and disease individuals develop. The fact that the disease of modern, industrialized society are - for the most part - preventable and that health is recoverable is what motivates me each and every day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The ability to be able to offer an integrated approach to health and well-being, which includes empowering our patients through education.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Harmony is a challenge. Harmony is identified as a human value - compatibility and accord feelings, actions, relationships, opinions, interests, etc. It denotes a state of balance among forces influencing and even opposing one another - particularly hard when a business requires a team in order to operate.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Ensure that the paradigm from which one operates and the Mission Statement of the business (including services and/or products) are congruent.
  2. Ensure that each member of the team who is employed to assist in the operation(s) of the business understands and holds the same or similar paradigm and believes in the Mission Statement of the business (including its services and/or product(s).
  3. Join a networking group or organization and business association(s) where you can educate others on what your business has to offer - its services and/or product(s).

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Learn about similar offerings by way of services and/or product(s) in your area so that if a situation arises where you need to refer, you can still assist your client, customer, etc. They will appreciate the assistance and will remember you for it.
