What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Butter Bear Company is a maker of frozen crustless sandwiches. Our customers are parents, hospital workers, first responders, and on-the-go snackers.

Tell us about yourself

PB & Js has been my go-to snack for as long as I can remember. However, I noticed a gap for Black-owned products in the space and am motivated to change that.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

To date, we have legally formed the company and have a viable prototype.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

For me, one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is remaining optimistic and focused before real traction.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Research, research, and research.
