What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business is to gather as many cruelty-free products in one convenient store as possible for easy, no-hassle purchases. Our customers are people who want to purchase products from companies that do not test on animals.
Tell us about yourself
I first got started in this business after seeing the Youtube video called Saving Ralph. It showed an animated day in the life of a test animal. It truly broke our hearts, so we decided to go cruelty-free. After trying to shop, we found it was hard to find, and some brands claim to be cruelty-free but sell in countries where they are required to test on animals. That means they are not truly cruelty-free. This made us want to be an ethical Amazon.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I am proud of the fact that I was able to see a dream come true. Being a business owner is a big accomplishment all by itself.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Gaining customers has been the most challenging part of being a business owner. We know our people are out there. We will reach them.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do research on everything you will need to start a business.
- Make sure you have a business plan.
- Make a budget so you don’t blow all of your capital at once.
