Tell us about yourself
I coach people to be great, not ordinary. Too many people have become homogenized, pasteurized, transformed, and otherwise made ordinary at work rather than inspired to do great work.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have helped countless people in these areas with one-on-one coaching, with my podcast, "No BS Job Search Advice Radio" (#1 in Apple Podcasts for job search with 2500+ episodes over 12 years), and with my YouTube channel, JobSearchTV.com (over 7000 videos).
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Keep my eye on the things necessary to me and my business and not be pulled into someone else's priorities.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Hiring someone to coach you while you face your fear of starting up is critical. You are smart enough to figure out a lot of things. Thinking you have to be perfect is one of the mistakes many business owners make. You have to be world-class, not perfect.
