What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having my book Choose to Prevail give way to new projects. In December 2021, a video interview series inspired by the book will be released.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Considering I also hold a full time job, am a parent, engage in painting and winemaking, and do much freelance work in media and publishing, finding time for my business is the biggest challenge.

What are the top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1) Find something that interests you so much that you would even do it just for fun.

2) Realize that you might not turn a profit right away, and don't get discouraged.

3) When implementing changes in your business, if possible do one at a time and keep a log so that you can see which modifications actually moved the needle and which ones didn't.

What are some of the things you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance?

I moved from a tremendously fast-paced city to a more laid-back one.

Who are some of your favorite entrepreneurs and why?

Giovanna Salas, CEO of multimedia company Heart Of Hollywood, because of her creativity and relentless drive.
