What's your business, and who are your customers?
The Art of Business, established in 2016, is a full-service growth marketing agency, a modern partner to progressive brands who are looking to grow their business. We work with passionate clients and become an extension of their business for all marketing needs. Brand and website development, email marketing, lead generation, social media, SEO, and much more.
The Art of Business works with clients to put together comprehensive strategic marketing plans, and then its team of 19 experts executes the strategy. Clients choose The Art of Business because of the progressive ideas, impeccable client service, and ROI.
Tell us about yourself
I am passionate about growth, big-picture ideas, and putting together strategic marketing plans for businesses wanting to scale. I enjoy leading a team of incredible talent and creating amazing things for my clients. Also proud of the fact that The Art of B continues its trend of doubling revenue year after year and thinks the sky is the only limit!
My philosophy is to love what you do, never say no to new opportunities without hearing them first, and treat others as you would like to be treated. I'm forward-thinking and intuitive when it comes to what a business needs in order to level up its marketing game. I am a single mother to a spunky boy, obsessed with plants (210+ houseplants), and I love relaxing in my cute bohemian home after a fulfilling day of work.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Continuing to grow year after year, It is an honour for us to announce that we are a certified top-notch women-owned business on Clutch for 2020 and 2021. According to the platform, we are among the top 70 leading women-owned firms worldwide. In addition to that, we are also excited to announce that we have been recognized by The Manifest in 2021, a business news platform that is dedicated to helping corporate buyers and solution providers through their extensive business wisdom. According to The Manifest, we are among the top 20 women-owned digital strategy agencies in the world.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
When growth is happening fast, many things need to adapt and change quickly within the internal business processes. I have found this the most challenging within my business and something I am forever trying to perfect.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Go into Entrepreneurship with the understanding that it is going to be hard, and resistance is a muscle you will work on regularly.
- Passion is paramount - you need to be passionate and excited about your business. Your team needs to be passionate about what they do with you in your business. Your clients also need to be passionate in order to sustain your business.
- Marketing is key to business growth - having a cohesive message and presence will take you far, quality is better than quantity, and everyone needs a good marketing strategy no matter their budget!
