What's your business, and who are your customers?

My customers are mid-size to large organizations and individuals who need or want to improve their communication skills and increase their productivity.

Tell us about yourself

As a CEO for 11 years with a large association, I used behavioral assessments in hiring and developing my team members. I became certified in Gallup Strengths and DISC assessments and decided to go out on my own to offer these services to other organizations to help improve and retain their team members. I am motivated each day by learning about people! We are all so very unique!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has clients that utilize my services more than once!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Staying focused on the main thing, whatever that is. It is hard to get sidetracked when you make your own schedule.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Plan, plan, plan before you start.
  2. Seek advice, and ask for help. I call my "advisors" my Personal Board of Directors.
  3. Don't let fear keep you from going for your Dream!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Being an entrepreneur has opened up new and exciting possibilities for me as a professional and as a person! I love it!
