What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help women become all God created them to be by helping them heal from abuse, destroy the lies they believe, fix their minds on the truth of God, and discover their God-given passion for impacting others. I work with Christian women who want to have the abundance in their life that is promised by the word of God.
Tell us about yourself
I started my business in May of 2020 when I was let go from my full-time business coaching position. My business had transformed into a vision God gave me in November of 2020 when He told me He wanted me to heal his people, especially women, from the pain and trauma they have experienced in life. He said that their lack of healing was preventing them from bringing all the amazing gifts they had to others, and He wanted that to change. This is exactly what keeps me motivated to learn, grow, and improve my business each day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has recognized that it is not about me but about what God wants to do through me. This has transformed the way that I look at my business. It has helped me to push through setbacks and continuously look for ways to improve what I am saying so that I can impact more people and help more people bring their genius to the world.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The tendency to focus on self and worldly success. Any time I focus on myself, I quickly become introverted, sad, and less impactful. It makes me think about success or lack of success from a worldly view and what I do or don't have personally. This always prevents me from making a positive impact on others and keeps me stuck at my current level.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Think long and hard about what you want your ultimate impact to be.
- Learn how to speak in a way that your target customer wants to buy up everything you are selling.
- Keep the focus on others.
