What's your business, and who are your customers?
I own an accounting and business development consulting services. I help small to medium size businesses and inspire entrepreneurs to grow, excel and scale.
Tell us about yourself
Coming from a small town, not too many opportunities in my field were available. So I decided to create an opportunity on my own. I decided to think outside the box in order for my business to be successful.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to grow where I can have a team now to help with my clients. I have a success rate with my clients; some have been with me since I begin. My reputation for getting the work done right excelled and attracted more clients by word of mouth.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Having the capital needed to continue to grow like for marketing to really scale your business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know that success doesn't happen overnight.
- You will get tired, but don't give up keep persevering.
- Know that the ones closest to you may not support you; they don't understand what's meant for you.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I've been in business for over a decade now; there are things a business owner I still don't know, but I keep researching, reading, and getting mentored to keep my going for another decade.
