I'm a career coach. My clients are professionals who want to find a fulfilling career that aligns with their purpose.
Tell us about yourself
After a 26-year career on Wall Street, I was fired by a boss who would retire two days later. During my career, I wrote a book that helped professionals advance in the corporate world.
After getting fired, I saw how poorly employees were being treated and living a life of stress and anxiety. I saw how Corporate America created a fear-based culture that kept people playing small. Once they are conscious that they are misaligned, I help them discover their purpose and build a career on their terms.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The success of my clients and the joy they experience once they live in purpose.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Your evolution and growth, and being able to adapt your offer so that it provides your clients with the best experience.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- While you have a job and an income, apply for a line of credit to secure the funding that you will need to invest in your business and live without worrying about a paycheck.
- Work on your mental resilience and fortitude to build an ironclad mindset. It will be an emotional roller-coaster ride.
- Enjoy the journey and know that every obstacle is put there for you to improve.
