What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a boutique photography company focused on creating authentic and high-quality imagery for women's brands and personal portraits, as well as families.

Tell us about yourself

I am a master photographer with over 25 years of experience. I love seeing into the depths of a person and create visuals that are authentic to the person in front of the lens. Showcasing women's strength, beauty, and resilience is powerful. My goal is always to put her at the front and center and amplify her uniqueness for the world.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Entrepreneurship is a wonderful life, and providing my own income for over 20 years is a huge accomplishment for me. I also founded two other companies, The Well Collaborative and Inner Illume. Running those with amazing teams is what I'm most proud of.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Staying true to who you are and not giving yourself up for the success of your business. You are integral to your future and your company's future; you come first.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Pick something that excites you, something you are called to, that you won't depart from when things get hard.
  2. Be honest with yourself about who you are.
  3. Ask for help at every opportunity.
