What's your business, and who are your customers?
Tactical Hyve is a firearms and tactical training community that connects people who want to learn how to defend themselves with the best instructors, guns, gear, and trade tricks.
Tell us about yourself
I've always wanted to enlist in the military, but it wasn't in the cards. However, I have friends high up in the military who I began training with to start "living the dream I had since I was a kid." I decided to share my experiences with those less fortunate, i.e., those who don't have the opportunity or resources to train with our nation's best.
I'm driven by the process of creating, sharing, and educating valuable lessons with those looking for information on how to protect themselves and others.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to repeat "success" several times in different business ventures by following the same foundational principles of business and applying them to various industries to grow companies.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Early startup phases have been the hardest in my experience because there are no systems in place and everyone on the team is trying to figure things out—it's an exciting time but a hard time.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have the foundational skills to start, run, and grow a business--more than just the desire to.
- Truly believe you can start, run, and grow a business with the skills you have.
- When you run into roadblocks or doubts, remember #2. You can do this. You have the skills to do it. Now, please do it.
