Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in food and beverage but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Eniko Gondos, Owner of Tabby Cat Coffee Company, located in Dothan, AL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a specialty-grade coffee brand. Every order that comes in is roasted straight away. We ethically source all of our coffee that originates from small independent farms. Our main mission is to support the cat health world by educating the public on the importance of cat health and wellness.

Feline health research continues to be underfunded compared to many other animals, and we want to make an impact by helping to fund scientific research for health breakthroughs and critical disease prevention for our feline friends, and that's why we donate a portion of our profits to cat health foundations.

Tell us about yourself

Tabby Cat Coffee Company™ was founded in April of 2022 and is dedicated to my sweet tabby cat named Nefi. He lived a great life but sadly passed away suddenly from kidney failure. After going through that difficult time in 2004, the thought of making a difference somehow in the cat health world lingered in my mind for years afterward, and I felt like I needed to get the word out about the importance of cat health and wellness because it isn't in the spotlight as much as it should be.

So, with my love of coffee, cats, and cat health, Tabby Cat Coffee Company was born. My motivation each day is to provide great fresh roasted to order coffee beans to my customers as well as educate people about feline diseases and general health care.
