What's your business, and who are your customers?
At Swift Innovations, we are on a mission to democratize natural and organic beauty solutions. We believe that switching to a natural and organic beauty alternative should not be expensive. Our flagship skincare brand, Refresh Botanicals, is ECOCERT certified organic and natural and uses advanced technology to enhance our products' efficacy. Advanced technological processes such as micro/nano-emulsions and nano encapsulations help improve the product's shelf life and ensure their target delivery to the desired area. The shell materials chosen for the encapsulations/ emulsifications are also derived from organic ingredients.
Tell us about yourself
I am a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Nanotechnology with a specialization in Nanotechnology in nanomaterial synthesis. I am passionate about spreading the idea of sustainable and chemical-free living. This idea became the genesis of Swift Innovations, wherein I wanted to innovate natural and organic solutions which are a worthy alternative to the chemicals we have been forced to use in our day-to-day life. The skincare needs revolutionary changes in order to make living sustainable and keep this earth free from dangerous pollutants.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
- Our products and manufacturing facility is ECOCERT approved.
- With Refresh Botanicals, we have been able to make a change in the lives of 40,000+ people.
- Though we are a proud Canadian brand, our products are in demand from several countries, including the USA, France, Germany, the Middle East, and India, for their quality and efficacy.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The consumer goods market is fast-changing. With the advent of e-commerce, the repercussions of even minor changes in marketing strategy, technical formulation, and quality of customer care are huge. These dynamics keep you on your toes 24/7.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Remain focused on the consumers as the consumer is the king!
- Be organized and detail-oriented.
