What's your business, and who are your customers?
Sweet Sleep Consulting gives exhausted, devoted parents the plan, tools, and support to make sleep easy for babies and children. Sweet Sleep came from a desire to simplify family life and build a healthier society with better-rested and connected families. We’ve helped thousands of families make sleep easy and we’d love to help you.
Tell us about yourself
When my first child was born, I became one of the many parents struggling needlessly with their baby's sleep. I learned the hard way that parents could take an active role in helping their babies and children sleep well, just as we help them learn to eat and walk. Knowing now that every child can be a good sleeper motivates me to spread the word that babies can indeed sleep like babies!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I've developed my own simple, loving, and effective method for helping families solve their sleep issues. The Sweet Sleep Method helps parents determine what their individual baby needs in order to sleep well. Many approaches instruct parents to do everything when, in reality, they only need to do what is needed for their child.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
It's difficult to know what to focus on at all times, and it can feel like a juggling act. Determining what moves the needle and allows me to help more families is key.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Make sure you are solving a problem and that the value you offer is worth more than what you charge. Then charge more than it costs you to produce the solution.
