What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm the founder of SV Empowerment. A global coaching business that transforms people's lives by helping them connect with their purpose and learn how to follow their intuition, so they have more freedom, create a bigger impact & make more money. I work with people who roll up their sleeves, show up daily & are focused on their goals while also love enjoying life.
Tell us about yourself
I am half Swiss/half Venezuelan; I've lived in NYC for over a decade, where I met my husband & I'm the mom of the cutest and sassy girl. I love everything about this life! I love to travel, learn, discover, connect with people, to experience it all. I have a corporate background in Marketing & PR, and as life would have after 12 years in corporate, I discovered my passion and my purpose as a coach. I got certified and took a huge leap of faith by following my intuition, and that's how SV Empowerment got started.
I've made it my mission to help people discover their joy, their purpose, and their gifts and then live a life from that place of pure authenticity where they can have more freedom, create a bigger impact & make more money.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Transforming people's lives! It's such an honor to do the work that I do. Getting to know people and helping them discover their purpose teach them how to listen to their intuition so they can create a life where they can make a bigger impact while making more money. I mean, what I do gives me life while creating a joyful ripple effect in the world. It's a win-win!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
It's a huge responsibility because you are it. 'It' means decisions start & end with you. It's been of the most fulfilling journeys that I've been on because I've gotten to know myself better than ever before. You learn how to take care of yourself in ways you never knew existed because when you're thriving, and you deeply love yourself, the business easily follows.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- It's a long-term commitment, so commit: Know your strengths and leverage them. Don't try to copy others, do you, share your light; your gifts are what the world needs.
- You don't need to niche to become successful: You just need to solve a problem for people. Make sure you love to solve that problem, so you don't burn out. Do what energizes you!
- Have fun with it! Don't take it so seriously; enjoy the ride. Find joy in the process and not just in the end result.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
There is no "or" -- there is only "and" -- you can do what you love and make a big impact and make a lot of money and have fun in the process. Your intuition always knows the way! And remember to follow your joy - always & in all ways!
