What's your business, and who are your customers?
I work with entrepreneurs and authors who want to shape the world in a positive way and need support with crafting their message, revenue generation, and positioning themselves as a thought leader.
Tell us about yourself
I love working with entrepreneurs and authors because they are creative people - always thinking about the next opportunity or idea. As a coach, my joy is being their cheerleader. I get to help them see how amazing, smart and capable they are. It is a privilege.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Building a steady stream of income. There are so many entrepreneurs struggling to do that, and I struggled for a long time. Knowing that I've built a business I can consistently pay myself and others through is a major win for me.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
For me, it is the fear of letting someone down. I always want to be sure that my clients get amazing results and that I'm doing everything I can to make that happen.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Understand who your ideal client is, what they need, and what they are willing to pay for.
- Get support as soon as you can for the things that you aren't good at.
- Build a network of like-minded business owners. You'll need it for referrals but also for emotional support.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Remember that every time you take a risk in your business and survive it, you grow through the experience.
