What's your business, and who are your customers?
The company was based on the idea of providing data-driven solutions that are optimized for user experience. I wanted to build a company that would help businesses use technology more efficiently and entertainingly. I wanted to create a user experience as bright and sunny as my personality! I think that our focus on user experience sets us apart from other businesses that don't put as much effort into it. I saw firsthand how difficult it was for businesses to keep up with the ever-changing technology. They would either invest in a new system or stay with old ones, only to find out that it became outdated within months or hard to use. The problem is that they did not put the user experience first. Sunny Experience is here to help its clients become successful online businesses. Any business, big or small, is welcomed by us and will get a personalized experience!
Tell us about yourself
I started as an independent consultant because of my experience with technology. I saw how businesses struggled with technology and wanted to do something about it. I was motivated to launch Sunny Experience because I find fulfillment in helping others and because I believe that every business deserves a great technological experience, which I am dedicated to providing. With my creativity and drive, I think that we can help businesses in nearly any sector. No business is too different for us, and we strive to provide the best possible experience for our clients every day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
As the founder of Sunny Experience, I had many proud moments. The first one would be when we helped a small OBNL with their website. It was one of the best experiences I had. The person I was helping knew little about websites and how to manage their content. So we created a way for her to be independent in her tasks. Of course, we created a beautiful website as well, but it is usually the easy part. My second proudest moment was when I employed my first employee. If I could have told everyone, I would have! The feeling of growing any business, my own or another, is really fulfilling to me!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being a business owner means wearing many hats and being responsible for a lot of moving parts. While this can be exciting and empowering, it can also be overwhelming. One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is accepting the fact that you can't know it all. You need to surround yourself with people who have complementary skills and knowledge. Delegating tasks and trusting others to help you grow your business can be scary but is essential for long-term success. When you surround yourself with a supportive team, you are able to achieve more than you ever thought possible.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
I'm a big believer in the power of learning by doing. When it comes to starting your own business, my only advice: go for it! Don't overthink or try to plan everything out perfectly. Just start taking action and learning as you go. Trial and error are an essential part of the entrepreneurial journey. You're never going to know everything there is to know about running a business, so don't be scared to make mistakes. Embrace the uncertainty and use it as fuel to keep moving forward. Learning by doing is the best way to figure out what works for you and your business. So, take the plunge and get started today.
