Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in coaching but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Elli Richter, co-founder of Subconsious Integrative Coaching, located in Charleston, SC, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a subconscious integrative coach and wizard in helping amazing people all over the world to live life fully, unblock their gifts and path, and make magic happen. I work with people who want to make peace with the past, become clear and present, and successfully co-create the future they feel called to. My clients often come in with topics like anxiety, depression, unprocessed trauma, health issues, relationship stresses, body image issues, money blocks, low self-worth, weight struggles, repeated patterns they want to break, and big goals and dreams that feel out of reach. I facilitate lasting healing and growth using subconscious change with PSYCH-K, embodiment practices, somatic practices, and human design. I also teach you how to trust and follow your intuition fully.

Tell us about yourself

I am German-born and raised and been living in the states since 2002. I always knew that this life is about helping others, and people have been telling me all their stories for as long as I can remember. I started in an all-women's gym at age 19, coaching women in fitness and nutrition. I realized how the body and nervous system represent the mind and unprocessed emotions and stress. I started to study all kinds of healing modalities, went to college in Germany for physiotherapy, and earned another degree in Health Education with a side in psychology from the College of Charleston.

I started my own business at age 23, and my praxis has evolved into what it is now. I began to work with people virtually in 2012 and also saw clients in person. In 2020, I decided to make my dream of being 100% virtual a reality. I have been living nomadically since February 2021, which is also a dream of mine. I am currently in Encinitas, CA, and loving it. This work helps my clients from seconds to minutes. The happy faces and daily messages of magical healing and manifestations always keep me inspired and motivated. This is my calling and I never get tired of it.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The biggest would be my client's amazing results. Personally, living exactly the way I want to, with no compromises. I work four days a week and take Friday-Sunday off. I relax, play, and enjoy life fully.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing for me was figuring everything out by myself. The kind of support, coaching, and resources entrepreneurs have now is the bomb.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. What comes natural and easy for you are your gifts. Center your business around that (get a human design reading if you struggle with this).
  2. Hire somebody like me to fast-track your success by unraveling your subconscious beliefs and clearing blocks.
  3. Prioritize your wellbeing, and have impeccable boundaries around that. Your health is wealth, and your business is all about energetics.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

We have a set of beliefs about everything. Imposter syndrome, for example, reflects beliefs like 'I am not good enough, smart enough, people won't like me, buy my product, who am I to do this...'. Beliefs can be changed with subconscious integration using PSYCH-K.

We either believe we can, or we believe we can't. Of course, willpower and hard work will work too. But having our own business is all about freedom and that incredible feeling of fulfillment and purpose. When you believe that you are capable, worthy, good enough, and confident, things feel easier and more aligned. Your energy will reflect that and magnetically attract happy customers and more good things.
