What's your business, and who are your customers?
Full-service event, planning, floral, and decor. Including concierge service, as well as Wedding Officiant and professional cake baker. Our customers are anyone that wants to celebrate any event for any reason.
Tell us about yourself
With over 30+ years of experience, I first started working for other people and believed that customer service should be better. What motivates me is the excitement of seeing as I execute the vision that a client has.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I think the biggest accomplishment is to still be in business to have repetitive clients and new ones and people still liking our innovative, creative approach.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I think a hard thing can be to believe in yourself and to realize you’re really good at what you do. Another challenging thing is keeping a balance between the creative side and the actual administrative business side of a business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Believe in yourself, but make sure you get mentors, training, and support.
- Get a good team that understands you, your mission, and the focus of how you want to do business.
- You’re only as good as your last success. Start each new one as if it was your first.
