What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help everyday people start and launch their own online marketing agency. The same type of agency that I own that does over 1.2M in revenue every year. We also help existing agencies grow and scale.

Tell us about yourself

What motivated me to start a business was knowing nothing was going to be handed to me, and I had to survive from a single-mother household. Now that my agency is over 7 Figures and I have a team in place, I am now starting to help people who are walking in the shoes I used to walk in. What motivates me is knowing how badly I wanted out of my original 9-5 and knowing others want out too.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Helping one of my employees buy her first house.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Managing people and emotions. I have a tough time with people who have a victim mindset; my mindset is if someone has done it once, so can I, just like the 4-minute mile.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Fix your mindset first; business is more mental than anything.
  2. Find people who are doing or have down what you want to do.
  3. Business is not like the movies; it can be really, really, really hard work with ups and downs.
