Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Pamela Goodwin, founder of Spiritual Life Coaching, located in Morrison, TN, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Hello, my name is Pamela Goodwin. As a certified spiritual life coach, I help clients break generational curses by bringing awareness of negative patterns and behaviors that are passed down from generation to generation. These negative patterns can hinder our growth and development. Some examples of generational curses include abuse or abusive relationships, codependency, and narcissistic tendencies, to name a few. We can be our own worst enemy, so the process of reprogramming the mind helps my client to align more with their purpose and dreams to help achieve their goals.

Tell us about yourself

During my spiritual awakening process years ago. I noticed that the blueprint of my life was centered around generational curses that were wreaking havoc over my life. I knew this had a lot to do with my purpose in life, so I started the journey of breaking those generational curses over my life. And now, my purpose is to help others to do the same.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Helping people turn their lives around for the better so the world can be a better place.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Sometimes it's hard to stay motivated and balanced. Owning a business requires a lot of time and effort, so it can be challenging.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don't let fear keep you from living your dreams. Do it afraid if you have to and conquer your fears.
  2. Start where you are and work with what you have. You are enough. You have everything you need to get started. The rest will come.
  3. Believe in yourself and stay focused. Practice self-care. Never give up on your dreams.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Your biggest competitor is yourself. One of the worst things you can do is to compare yourself with others. It can cause you to stand in the way of your success. Keep your eyes on the prize.
