What's your business, and who are your customers?
Spark Growth is a social media and digital marketing company. We help primarily pharmaceutical, life sciences, financial services, and e-Commerce clients establish a strong social media presence and content strategy that converts.
Tell us about yourself
I started my career in management consulting. In the early days of social media for business, we founded Spark Growth to help businesses take advantage of this new marketing tool. We love staying on top of the trends, helping clients establish their brands, and growing their businesses through organic and paid social media. I enjoy working directly with clients to understand their business strategy and develop KPI-driven marketing programs aligned with goals.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I'm proud of the fact we've developed long-term relationships with clients, continuing to deliver value year-over-year.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Recruiting and retaining top talent is a challenge in any business, but I believe we've found a strong formula to find and keep the right kind of motivated A-players who are a strong fit for company culture.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Establishing and sticking to strong core values has been critical, which means only doing business with and hiring talent who aligns with those values. It is also critical to develop a strong sales and marketing engine, highly targeted to your ideal customer. Invest your personal time and energy in cultivating and developing your team and making top clients successful.
