Create Sustainable Businesses - Soulfluent

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Priscilla Stephan, CEO of Soulfluent LLC., located in San Diego, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I work with established, service-based women entrepreneurs who are growing world-changing businesses that support the greater good. Through a powerful combination of practical business strategy and soul guidance in the Akashic Records, I excel at helping people identify their zones of genius, step into powerful leadership, and live their purpose profitably.

I work with leaders from a wide range of industries who have one thing in common: the desire to create a global impact and live a life of purpose without sacrificing their time, relationships, or well-being.

Tell us about yourself

In 2011, I started working with women who were experiencing emotional eating. That turned into career coaching (which I loved) oftentimes. No surprise that women who don't love their work or are too stressed at work can overeat or have poor eating habits in general. In 2014, I came upon the Akashic Records and discovered my ability to help transformational leaders and conscious entrepreneurs grow businesses that changed the world while also supporting their well-being, gifts, and joy.

It's awe-inspiring to convey soul guidance to my clients that stretches them and allows them to step into even deeper alignment with their vision and purpose without working harder or throwing their well-being under the bus. Seeing the change these women are creating in the world is deeply fulfilling and inspiring.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I'm still in business after eleven years. I've been through some intense dark nights of the soul and became stronger on the other side. I had to examine my intentions, expectations, timelines, and ultimately whether I really wanted to stay in business. Secondly, my biggest accomplishment was publishing my first book: The Soulfluent® Leadership Business Guide, which reached International Bestseller Status in February 2022.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Unexpected surprises. "Failures" on projects that you put your heart and soul into. Having friends and family be unsupportive of your goals (this is why it's so important to have friends who understand what you're going through and who also take risks in their lives).

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Identify the kind of lifestyle that you want to lead and create a business model that fully supports and prioritizes your values. Make the business work for you, not the other way around. It may take some trial and error, but it's a must if you don't want to be a slave to your business.
  2. Understand your customer. Make sure that you love them and know what they need and create services and products that delight them, improve their lives, and reflect YOUR genius and unique talents. Don't try to be all things to all people or to save them. Rather, your job is to provide exceptional quality service to the people that are ready, willing, and able to receive what you are offering.
  3. Money is a byproduct of good work. Listen to your soul and do things your way. Be willing to get to know yourself and your aspirations intimately and build a business that reflects your vision, values, and personal expression. Your business gets to be a beautiful vehicle for you to be totally yourself in the world. Do the personal development work required to feel safe being seen and heard for who you are and what you really believe in. It matters to all of us. Don't hide.
