Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jenna Faye Madden, CEO of Soul Meets Strategy, located in Nelson, BC, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is called Soul Meets Strategy, which is a 7 figure brand and movement I have created that helps conscious female entrepreneurs to grow themselves and their businesses to the next level in an aligned, strategic and profitable way.

Tell us about yourself

My business was birthed as a by-product of my own personal evolution and healing journey. When I stumbled into the world of coaching and healing work after quitting my corporate job to become a personal trainer - I knew it was meant for me. Because of my desire to grow personally while helping others to transform on their path, it was a natural fit. My expertise is based in the areas of conscious business strategy, leadership development, masterful facilitation, and wealth energetics.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Creating a certification program that has helped dozens of women to grow their own confidence in their skills to become more effective, ethical, and empowered coaches/healers. I'm so proud of every woman that has gone through the program and to hear how this process has supported them to help their clients on a deeper level. This is the true ROI - a ripple of impact.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Maintaining an identity outside of business! It's so easy to let the businesses that we are passionate about overtaking our lives, where we think about it all the time. It's become essential for me to take time off from my business each day, that is, for me, my family, and my other interests. This also builds the polarity in my relationship with my business, allowing it to grow more without me sacrificing myself or my energy.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

My top tips for anyone looking to start or grow a successful business would be to focus on what actually excites you and to take action from that space. I always recommend asking yourself the question, "if no one told me how it should be done, how would I choose to do it" and to start there when creating or developing things in your business to stay innovative and creative without putting yourself in a box.

The mantra I always remind myself of when it comes to my business is to hold the vision, not the circumstances. Because the truth is, there are always a million reasons why it couldn't or wouldn't work out. But your connection to your vision and your devotion to keeping going can always be stronger than the things that pop up on the journey.
