What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are doing eyelash extensions, and my clients are mostly ladies.
Tell us about yourself
I’m a medical interpreter, but I want to challenge myself in a beauty career just like my friends do, so I took a class and got a license to start from there. Good compliments from customers every day tells me that I have some talent in a beauty career and motivates me to keep going.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I just moved from a small 100 square feet salon to 680 square feet to extend my business.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Building clientele from scratch is so tough. There was a time when I had no client at all in a day.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be patient.
- Work hard.
- Be willing to learn new things to improve yourself.
