Our mission statement is - we deliver complete and perfect financial records, which results in business owners' peace of mind. We currently have about 150 companies that we do bookkeeping for. They are service-based businesses such as doctors, lawyers, marketing companies, construction companies, creatives, influencers, actors, real estate investors, etc. They generally have between $300k to $10 million in revenue.

Tell us about yourself

I was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. I went to a primary school in a little town south of London called East Grinstead. My family then moved to Florida when I was 10, and at the age of 11, I told my teacher I would never need math. My teacher disagreed and look at me now. I started doing bookkeeping straight out of high school, and after being the CFO of a marketing company for several years, I decided to start my own bookkeeping firm.

I want to help business owners succeed. Every day, I see business owners starting companies and being super excited until one day, they get a stack of confusing paperwork from the IRS and lose a little bit of their shine. I want to help bring back their excitement and their shine. I want them to succeed. That is what motivates me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is going from being just a bookkeeper to being an entrepreneur. It has been quite a learning curve. I have built a fantastic team and helped hundreds of business owners along the way.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The fact that there is no blueprint or manual. You have to figure it out as you go. And the secret is, no one else has it all figured out either.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start today. Don't hesitate, don't get stuck in analysis paralysis. Just pick something and start. You can always pivot or start something else later.
  2. Make your company profitable fast. Investors are great, but profit is better. Don't be scared of making money or of the IRS. The IRS can't tax you if you aren't making money.
  3. The only way to fail is if you quit. If you don't quit, you can't fail.
