Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Solé Romero, located in Austin, TX, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I do one-on-one holistic healing for people who are on their own spiritual and awakening journey, as well as teach meditation classes to corporations and individuals of all backgrounds.

Tell us about yourself

I was introduced to the healing arts at a very young age by my mother. Both of my parents were and are passionate about helping people and bettering the world, and I think I got a lot of that from each of them in many ways. Finding the exquisite power of meditation and inner healing along my own journey really propelled me into my work.

My own feeling good and my own personal evolution are what drives me every single day to keep going and to reach as many people as I can. I know the power of this work. I know what kind of world we would exist within if everyone found this for themselves, and I'm willing to be a proponent of that change.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is creating a business that is spiritual in nature and an expansion of consciousness. Most people do not understand what holistic healing or energy work even is, and many people do not meditate. Having built a business that represents what I believe to be the solution in many ways is something I'm very proud of.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

There are always going to be peaks and valleys as a business owner. Maintaining belief in yourself, your work, your path, and what you're here to do is a daily commitment to renew. It's like a relationship you must cultivate every single day. This is not always easy, but always, always worth it.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. The first tip I'd give is to just start. I think people get tricked by their own minds that "starting a business" sounds like such a huge endeavor, and in reality, it can be broken down to simply starting. Put yourself out there. Obtain the LLC if that's a part of your work. And start talking about it.
  2. The next tip is to let it bloom and evolve. We often get stuck in the confines of what we think our work is supposed to be, and sometimes that is only meant to be a starting point. Commit to offering the highest possible offering and let that work through you.
  3. Finally, I'd say ask for help. That was something I really had to work on because I have a misconception that I can do everything myself and you simply cannot. Build a team and a network, and let them help you. We're stronger together.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

We are capable of living out a totally new timeline, and I think more people using their gifts and stepping into their life's work is really the master key that will unlock a new world.
