Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in professional development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jaide Massin, Founder of Soar Executive Coaching LLC., located in New York, NY, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I specialize in executive, leadership, and career coaching. An expert in helping people actualize their goals, my open and engaging approach allows my clients to channel their value into both personal and professional success.

Tell us about yourself

Having worked with countless individuals from the likes of Facebook, Amazon, Audible, Google, and other Fortune 500 companies, My unique point of view allows me to customize my services so they are specifically tailored to each client's individual passion and purpose. Recognizing that everyone has their own set of talents and skill sets, I help people embrace the best of who they are while enabling them to reach their goals.

Following a successful career as a headhunter placing top talent within mid-size to large corporations, I began my coaching journey. I hold multiple certifications in coaching from New York University and Rutgers University. I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) with the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches. I received my Bachelor of Music from the University of Miami.

My belief is that everyone is capable of helping themselves; however, people need a greater sense of self-awareness to do so. In light of that, I'm a licensed practitioner of the Global DISC Assessment, which measures both individual and team self-awareness to leverage strengths, increase communication, collaborate effectively, and activate emotional intelligence to ultimately achieve success.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Seeing my clients succeed.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Staying the course and always believing in myself, even when I don't have external validation.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Fake it till you make it.
  2. Be your biggest cheerleader.
  3. Don't lose sight of your "why."
