What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business makes handcrafted soaps, lotions, lip balms, and more! Our target customers are everyone! We have products for any gender and all ages!
Tell us about yourself
I first started my business to try something new, and as I started to learn more, I found that I loved the whole process. I later expanded to other products. I find it very motivating if even one person tells me our products helped them!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to be eco-conscious as a small business isn’t always easy, but it is rewarding! We also love being able to inspire people to try new things. No matter how small a business might seem, it can always make an impact!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Staying positive when sales are low is difficult, thinking about if there's something you are doing wrong or wondering if you should close shop, but knowing that even one person enjoys our products keeps us going. Also, the process of trying new products is a long trial and error, and sometimes it is hard to know if you should keep going or not have a new product.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
First, Don’t be too hard on yourself and your products if they don’t look perfect to you. Sometimes you find imperfections that customers would never notice or care about. You are your worst critic.
Second Explore new ways and new products. Sometimes things work, and sometimes they don’t, but you’ll never know until you try them.
Third Don’t give up! If having a small business is something you really want, then put yourself out there and never give up, it might be slow and stressful sometimes, but it will be worth it!
