What's your business, and who are your customers?
SoakWell is a method for self restoration. A holistic wellness brand that offers a line of intention-based products that are designed to store your balance.
Tell us about yourself
SoakWell was created from my own personal need for self-care and balance. Being a busy mother of 2 and an entrepreneur and running a restaurant full time led me to the creation of SoakWell. I needed to find a way to restore myself, my balance, and my peace.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment would be that I have been able to learn to balance my entrepreneurial life with my home life. Owning and operating several businesses at the same time as raising a family has been challenging, but with balance, everything is possible. Self-care is the key to success.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Well, I find a few things to be difficult in being a business owner. Finding the right team to help you scale your business and grow; we can not scale without help. Also, staying consistent in whatever you do so your customer base trusts you and your products and finding a way to always offer quality in these changing times.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
My tips would be to learn all the aspects of running, owning, and operating your business. You need to know how to wear many hats when operating a business. Find the right people to help build your foundation, i.e., accountants, brokers, marketing consultants, and business planning. Find staffing and create a team and work culture around your brand, i.e., management.
