What's your business, and who are your customers?

TRIAD Association is redefining association management one community at a time. TRIAD offers a full array of association management services ranging from accounting to full-service portfolio, onsite lifestyle, and A'la carte services for our clients: communities/homeowners.

Tell us about yourself

As a volunteer Board member for my homeowners' association, I wanted to learn more about the industry which led to me becoming a licensed community association Manager. That eventually led to partnering with an industry professional to start TRIAD Association Management. TRIAD's vision was developed from communities expressing their need for customized management to ensure one of their biggest investments' value is positively impacted. What motivates me every day is knowing TRIAD's team is providing quality services and changing the way homeowners feel for the better about community association management through TRIAD's partnerships with our Boards, Vendors, and Employees.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

One of our biggest accomplishments is the overwhelming support from the community and industry partners. TRIAD is grateful for the constant recommendations, which is the highest compliment anyone can give. I'm very proud to say every community that has partnered with TRIAD has referred us to others. Word of mouth is the hardest referral to receive, and we are so proud to say that our growth has come entirely from our reputation and word-of-mouth referrals!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is ironically managing growth. As TRIAD grows, so does the need for additional processes and staff. To maintain the quality service TRIAD's has promised, it's essential you know when to accept new business. And sometimes that means saying no to new business, which is one of the hardest things to do as an owner!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
