What's your business, and who are your customers?
Simplholistic is my private nutrition practice that evolved into my Bare Naked Hormones Course, Instagram, and many other resources. Simplholistic is for women overwhelmed by the noise of the wellness world who have "tried everything" and are ready to experience true root-centered healing. It's simple healing inspired by God's perfect design for us and returning to nature.
Tell us about yourself
I'm Ashlee! I was diagnosed with many autoimmune conditions (at the age of 14-16, whoa!), PCOS, infertility, and many other diseases. I knew there was more to the picture, so I went out searching.
Finally, I landed where I am now and am ever learning and understanding more about our human physiology and biology. The "Ashlee, I am pregnant!!" or "Ashlee, I went in, and all of my autoimmune antibody levels are 100% gone" emails are what I live for. It's incredibly rewarding.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My Bare Naked Hormones Course has helped thousands of women all around the world.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I really love it all. I love empowering women, I love providing for my family, and I love being able to pass clients on to other wellness professionals when I don't have the bandwidth.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Invest in your business, and don't be afraid to put money into what will grow.
- Find your own voice and passion and take off with it. Don't let anyone stop you.
- Treat it seriously. Take the time, effort, and resources, and act like a businesswoman!
