I help professional women write books that share their expertise and amplify their brand.
Tell us about yourself
I’ve always been a reader and a writer, but I was waiting to “be chosen” by an agent or a publishing house. When I finally decided to self-publish, it was so liberating. I decided to help other women do the same in their stories and create another stream of income.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I’ve helped three brilliant women bring their ideas from a document to a professionally published book to share with their audiences.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about being in business is knowing what to delegate and what must be done by you. I think too many of us do unnecessary tasks for far too long.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don’t pressure your business to be your income source.
- Find community right away. You need people who understand and are equally yoked.
- Focus on one fantastic good or service initially. You can expand later.
