Tell us about yourself

I love to help people. Being able to introduce a new way for your well-being. I first started out as a physiotherapy assistant and realized I wanted more from helping people rehabilitate from acute and chronic conditions. Massage Therapy sparked my interest because all the patients enjoyed and wanted that treatment the most. So I decided to go back to school and study massage therapy. I went to Sutherland-Chan massage therapy and teaching school. I have been registered for seven years now. What keeps me motivated is all the feedback I get from my clients; I know that I'm making a change in their lives.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to break free from working at major clinics/spas and answer to myself. I love my job but don't want to feel burned out. Having flexibility is very important. Knowing that you are seen as a professional. Growing and being present on social media.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Budgeting and asking for help.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Invest in yourself.
  2. Plan ahead.
  3. Be organized.
