What's your business, and who are your customers?

I offer funding for businesses, from start-ups to established businesses. I work with two types of funding companies. One is for established freelancers to established businesses, and the other is for those who are start-ups. Start-ups go through a longer process because they are just starting their business or don't meet the requirements many lenders are asking for. One of our popular ones is called The Line of Credit. If approved, you can get up to 100k, and you can take out what funding you need; you'll have up to a year to pay it back. This is our best seller!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

As an agent that helps get businesses to receive funding, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing people get the funding they need. I've helped truck business owners get funding to fix their broken vehicles, and daycare owners get funding for a new location. 80% of businesses get rejected by banks & the reason is banks have high criteria than other lenders. When the banks say no, we say yes!!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

There are certainly a few top challenging ones. Even though we help many types of businesses, there are still requirements, and many do not meet them. It's so upsetting when people state they need funding to start their business, but they are at scratch, and as times have changed, the lending process, unfortunately, has risen; another process that can be challenging is marketing. It's not so easy as posting an ad or a post on social media. Many peoples will respond, but few ever really go through the process of getting funding. People can say they need it, but it's a different story when they don't go through with it, even when it comes to follow-ups. It's all a numbers game. But always satisfied in the end when someone does go through with it.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

You have to be passionate about what you do. If you do not, it's going to be extremely hard to go through with it. 99% of businesses fail because they gave up; I see this happen a lot on social media. So many people say they are quitting because they didn't make money the first year. You are going to struggle. It took me more than a year before I could really get an understanding & really focus on what I needed to do to accomplish my goals.
