What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is the Shaking Medicine Foundation which aims to help people all over the world remember and tune into their instinctive mechanism of therapeutic tremoring. This mechanism has evolved naturally over millions of years to regulate your nervous system and naturally dissipate aches, pains, stress, anxiety, suppressed emotions, and trauma. It acts as hygiene for your mind and body, unraveling the root causes of many ailments. Best of all, it is easy to access because it is already within you! Our customers are anyone around the world who is ready to activate their therapeutic tremor mechanism to optimize their health and well-being.
Tell us about yourself
I first had a profound experience with therapeutic tremoring one night in deep meditative space. I had never heard of it before in my life. Somehow my intuition guided me into allowing and surrendering to this tremor mechanism. I felt so much tension and suppressed energy in my body get released so effortlessly and beautifully. I woke up the next morning feeling completely renewed and reborn. This motivated me to explore it further, which eventuated in me experimenting with sharing this with others which eventuated in me developing a teacher training so others can share Shaking Medicine too. Each day I am motivated by the profound feedback I receive from others embodying this medicine.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment in this work as the founder of this modality is that there are now teachers all over the world sharing it. To have created online courses and resources at www.shakingmedicine.com for anyone to easily embody, learn about, remember their instinctive mechanism of therapeutic tremoring, and even share this modality.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is the daily grind of tasks such as checking and replying to emails, maintaining and updating the website and social media, creating new content and courses, and more. My passion is in the art of sharing this embodiment modality much more than these logical-minded repetitive tasks. Various forms of automation and passive streams of income help with this a lot.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- To be passionate about what you do.
- To practice what you preach or, in other words, be an expert by authentically being what you are passionate about and what lights you up.
