We are a full-service indoor rock climbing gym that is community oriented!

Tell us about yourself

My name is Albert, and I have a deep passion for climbing. I started climbing over 20 years ago. When I moved back to my hometown of El Paso, I knew that the city needed a place to meet climbers, train for climbing, and expand their passion for climbing. With this idea in mind that 10 years ago, I began the journey to provide that service to the El Paso community.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Hiring my staff, I feel like the team I'm surrounded with really embodies my vision and goals. We are all like-minded individuals with a passion for climbing and a love for the southwest.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Learning to wear multiple hats and having to solve problems you have an idea about. You will always face challenges that put you in a state of discomfort, and being uncomfortable is very hard, but once you learn to deal with it, you become better overall.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don't forget to take care of yourself. If you are not well taken care of, it's hard to run a business.
  2. Don't try to do everything yourself. Seek out help when needed, and let anyone who is willing to help you, help you.
  3. Be flexible and adaptable; nothing in your plan is going to go as planned.
