What's your business, and who are your customers?

Searchbloom is an award-winning SEO & PPC company that partners with Local, National, and E-commerce businesses around the world to grow their digital marketing ROI.

Tell us about yourself

I've been in digital marketing for a little over 15 years and started Searchbloom 8 years ago. After working for several other agencies, I learned that there is a better way to provide digital marketing services that focuses more on transparency and client-agency partnerships.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Winning Mountain West Capital's Utah 100 award. Coming in at #54 of the fastest-growing companies in Utah.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

I think managing many people with different personality types is very challenging. While it has been a challenge, it has also really helped me grow a lot professionally.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start now - It doesn't really matter if it's a success or not. Lean into the discomfort and work your hardest. When the chips fall, you'll have learned a whole lot just by doing it, no matter the level of success it has.
  2. Get a Mentor - One of the best ways to save time and accelerate learning is to get a mentor who has done it before.
  3. Learn from those before you - Some of the greatest lessons I've ever learned came from people who died way before I was born. READ and learn from those who have come before you.
