What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have been in the e-commerce space for a long time. It's a fast-paced world, and it's always great to see the teams we helped build grow into multi-million businesses. The relationships I have with my clients are something I'm very proud of.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Striking a balance between professional and personal life is no easy task for any entrepreneur. Though the drive to succeed helps them reach great heights, money nor success can replace special moments with family or friends. It has been challenging at times trying to explain work delays due to familial obligations as well as having enough time for school events when business meetings come up on the same day - it's an ever-present juggling act!
Fortunately, entrepreneurs have found solutions that allow some harmony in their working lives, but it takes effort and dedication every hour of every day, something no amount of wealth could make easier!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Build Trust! When trust is established between you and your employees and customers, it creates a bond that can stand the test of time. Having confidence in one another gives everyone peace of mind knowing they are supported no matter what situation arises - from every day successes to extraordinary feats!
- Be the best in your niche. No matter what your trade, strive to be a master of it. Empathize with your customers and give them the best service possible – put yourself in their shoes so you know how best to resolve any issues they may have, exceed expectations, and leave them feeling contented.
- Enjoy what you are doing! It's been said that with passion comes success, and that couldn't be more true. If you truly enjoy your work in life, then the rewards will follow - even if they're not always financial or immediately evident. So don't view it as 'work,' but instead seize every opportunity to put a little love into what you do: after all, following your passions guarantees lifelong fulfillment!
