Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Sarah Elspeth Bryans, CEO of Sarah Elspeth Inc., located in Vancouver, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Sarah Elspeth Inc is an integrated health service combining therapeutic counselling, nutritional counselling, and somatic bodywork for a unique healing experience. My goal is to help women find freedom from chronic pain and anxiety while achieving their best body yet.

Tell us about yourself

I have always known that I was meant to help women on their healing journey. As a result of overcoming incredible adversity in my own life, I have become extremely passionate about paying that forward to the courageous souls that are drawn to my work. My business was born from this desire over ten years ago. What motivates me each day is seeing the profound change for individuals who commit to walking their healing path with me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have had many ups and downs as a business owner. Still, I feel my biggest accomplishment was opening my own space several years ago and the development of my "beautifully balanced program."

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

You care so much about the end result when it is coming from a place of your own authentic offering. I try to release this immense pressure I'm prone to placing on myself in terms of my clients having the most radical shift possible. Instead, I strive to allow the sessions to flow how there are meant to. For me, that means coming into my breath and the present moment and holding space for whatever experience my clients are meant to have.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Be authentic; let your offering come from a place of genuine passion within yourself. Be open, don't be rigid in terms of your vision, allow it to flow and evolve organically. Take time for yourself, self-care is essential to avoid burnout and allows you to be of the highest service to your clients.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I believe we are all here to contribute something beautiful and powerful to the planet that only we can bring. When you connect with that space of knowing what your personal assignment is, anything is possible!
