What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business offers Comprehensive Financial Planning, Investment Management Strategy, Specialized Financial Advice, Risk Management, Tax Optimization, Personal Attention, and Regular Communication. Our customers are retirees, Corporate Executives, and diligent savers.
Tell us about yourself
I am responsible for client relationships. I have a Master's Degree from Indiana University Bloomington. I am a Member of the Financial Planning Association of MN. Certified Financial Planner (CFP Board), The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), FeeOnlyNetwork. I am also a concert pianist and frequent performer for local piano recitals or special events. I enjoy swimming, golfing, hiking, and skiing with my husband and four boys.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Working with my husband, who has unique quantitative skills. Working with my employee (who is also my friend) and continuing to develop the quality of our relationships.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Taking a leap of faith to start.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Believe in yourself.
- Family-focused, who will provide you with emotional support.
- Pick a business you naturally enjoy doing, whether paid well or not.
