What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are all about inspiring others to set and crush bold goals in business and in life. We focus on creating a strategy for high achievers and offer implementation resources for those that just want it done! This allows high achievers to focus on what they do best, and we can focus on the seemingly impossible. Think of our team as your fractional Chief Operating Officer & Operations team! We are experts in strategy and implementation for your biggest goals.

Tell us about yourself

When I was working at a large company, I fell into several projects deemed by others as “impossible,” and I was able to look at the problem differently to make the impossible possible. Quickly I realized that with the right team, looking at a problem in different ways, we can create efficiencies that allow workers to get more done in less time. These projects led to the beginning of my company with some side projects. Now we focus on creating a strategy for leaders and offer implementation resources for leaders who just want it done! This allows business leaders to focus on what they do best, and we can focus on the seemingly impossible.

I am truly motivated when I can help clients move from the daily grind to setting and crushing their bold goals. Those “impossible” problems are the fuel for my team; we love getting it done.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Truly the biggest accomplishment was hiring my first team member. This milestone truly solidified the business and quickly expanded the services I was able to provide. My greatest point of pride is seeing my team excel on projects for clients and deliver more than what was imagined.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Professionally,  I have always managed large teams with direct and indirect reports. When I first started out on my own, one of my biggest frustrations was not having an implementation team for my wild ideas. I knew it was not in the budget, but I also knew I could create a plan. I started by creating a future organization chart with my prospective employees. I assigned job titles and even started listing out tasks they would be responsible for. Next, I assigned priorities to hire them. When I hired my first team member, I hired her based on the needs from that org chart, and I was able to easily transition the responsibilities over without thinking about what I needed her to do; it was planned out in advance. This future organization chart planning has allowed me to focus on driving revenue so I can afford to build my team. I know I must only do the tasks they will be assigned until I make the hire.

Now,  my business is focused on being a team for people trying to achieve more.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don’t compare your starting work to the work others took years to build. Becoming great at your craft takes time, do the work, and don’t worry about where others are on the timeline.
  2. You can do hard things. Know that in the beginning, everything will be a challenge or an obstacle, but shortly you will be able to do these things more quickly with practice.
  3. Remember you don’t need to know everything relationships are crucial to a business. Consider who you can learn from, trade services with, and mentor (or bring along for the ride).
