What's your business, and who are your customers?

We specialize in Chef Inspired- Micro Batch, Premium Hot Sauce for anyone who is looking for a hot sauce that has an emphasis on flavor first and foremost... then heat.

Tell us about yourself

This saucy journey began when I was just a long-haired metalhead in high school growing hot peppers in my backyard. After culinary school, I started my grind as a professional chef. Only when I merged my two passions of gastronomy and hot peppers was "Sam Sa'house" born.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

One of the biggest accomplishments to date is seeing local support from our community. We are going into our third year and still consider ourselves a very small company with room to grow, but our main focus will always be supporting the local community that has shown only amazing support for us during this process.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The most difficult thing could also be one of the most liberating things... Freedom. Being self-employed means absolute freedom to do as you wish but with that comes great responsibility. If your foot is off the gas pedal, there is no forward momentum; therefore, the grind is nonstop!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Make a product you personally enjoy.
  2. Do something you are extremely passionate about.
  3. Don't be afraid of making mistakes.
