Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business services but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Wes Baiz, Founder and CEO of Salespreneurs, located in Winter Garden, FL, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is a sales agency that contracts with business owners that have an online-based high-ticket product or service, and we run their sales for them.
Tell us about yourself
I got started in my business after I invested $80k in a high ticket program myself that would help me start an online business, but I wasn’t successful with it. Through that experience, I realized that I was able to sell other people on purchasing programs and services and decided to get into the sales side of things, eventually starting my own sales agency. The impact is what motivates me each day. Impact I make on my salespeople because they make 10s of thousands of dollars in commissions each month. Also, the customers we sell are better off after working with us than before, and that impact motivates me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I’ve been able to help 17 different business owners reach 8 figures in revenue with our sales system.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Managing people, keeping them motivated, and helping them continuously improve.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Fall in love with the journey, not the destination.
- Remember that you work for your people, so always give them your best.
- Prioritize growing other leaders because you can’t grow unless you do.
